Production of fruit

RK Products Srl was founded in 2019 as a company of the RK Group whose main business is the commercialisation of fruit for processing; it has its head office and operations in Saluzzo (CN), in the heart of Piedmont, where more than 100,000 tonnes of fruit for processing are produced each year in Italy and throughout Europe.

Four years after its foundation, the company expanded, setting up a new office in France in 2023, RK Products France, to be closer to transalpine suppliers, with the same aim of commercialising fruit for processing in the French and European markets.

Through its various companies, RK Growers brings together major fruit and vegetable growers by researching, selecting and cultivating the best and most innovative varieties, supplying the most important markets and large-scale distribution in Italy, Europe and worldwide.

Diversity on the transformations

Depending on the characteristics of the products marketed by RK Products, the goods are mainly destined for two types of processing.
In the case of conventional products, 56 per cent are processed into juice and 44 per cent into puree.
For zero-residue baby food products, 32% is converted into juice, while 68% becomes puree.
For organic products, 24% is converted into juice and 76% into puree, while for biodynamic products, 25% is converted into juice and 75% into puree.
This diversification in the destination of goods reflects the adaptability of RK Products to market requirements.

Fruits with different characteristics

RK Products is an established company with a wide range of fruit for the processing industry.
Their supply includes a variety of options, with 68% coming from conventional farming, 20% from organic farming and 10% from controlled farming for zero-residue baby products..

In addition, RK Products is committed to supporting 5% biodynamic farming, thus demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and quality in their fruit production.
